This is the Spirit that empowered Christ’s self-sacrifice on the cross (Heb. 9:14), raised Jesus from the dead (Rom. 1:4), and was poured by Christ onto creation to impart God’s favor and to continue to advocate for—and witness to—divine justice in the world.
